Monitoring Plan Services

Without professional assistance, airlines risk committing to an unrealistic monitoring plan that will force the airline into high compliance costs. With our extensive experience, we can help you avoid this risk through a wide range of monitoring plan services:

  • Full Monitoring Plan Services: We will work closely with you to prepare a monitoring plan that will both best fit your existing systems and meet the EU requirements. We will submit the plan and see the process through to approval, including providing any changes or clarifications.
  • Monitoring System Gap Analysis: We will review your existing monitoring systems and provide you with the information you need to adapt them to the EU requirements.
  • Monitoring Plan Review: EcoTraders will review your monitoring plan before submission, identifying its strengths and weaknesses and helping you to better prepare for the monitoring period.
  • Monitoring Plan Implementation: EcoTraders will implement the monitoring plan based on our extensive experience with monitoring systems. This will include formulating detailed work procedures as well as QA / QC procedures and assimilating them into the airline.

Monitoring and Reporting Services

  • Monitoring: We will lead the airline through the monitoring period, including data collection and quality assurance, in accordance with the approved monitoring plan and new monitoring requirements that may arise.
  • Pre-Verification: We will pre-verify the airline's data, calculate GHG emissions and tonne-km data, and lead the airline through the external audit of the data conducted by an accredited verification company.
  • Monitoring Report: We will prepare and submit the airline's emissions and tonne-km reports and lead the company through the emissions allowance allocation process.
